FOUNDATION STONE CEREMONY
Aadi Shankarcharya Vedic Education Society comprising of Members from various segments of Educational field was formed with a Mission to promote Education in Vedic Sciences besides traditional professional courses such as Engineering, Architecture, Law and Management. In Second phase, the Society also visualized to build up a charitable Hospital exclusively for ladies & children with latest State of the art diagnostic facilities & emphasis on Education & treatment by Ayurvedic/ Herbal, Yoga & Pranayam therapies.
In line with its objectives, the Society has decided to establish a University in the district of Alwar in Rajasthan in the name of LAKHANI INTERNAIONAL UNIVERSITY under the Private Universities Act of the State Government. In this direction, an MOU between the Society and the Government of Rajasthan has already been signed on 30-11-2007 .
His Holiness Swami Ramdevji, Chief Guest of the ceremony, on 27 th April 2008 shall lay FOUNDATION STONE of the proposed University. Hon'ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan Mrs. Vasundhra Raje is expected to grace the occasion as a Guest of Honour in addition to her Cabinet colleagues and many other dignitaries across the globe like L.N. Mittal, Birlas, Thapars, Jindals, Goenkas, Kedias, Aggarwals from Prakash pipes & Surya Roshini, besides the representatives of UNESCO and well wishers from many countries including USA, Canada, U.K., Australia, Dubai, Japan, South-Africa, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mauritius, Nigeria etc. are likely to grace the event which would be widely covered by visual & the print media all over the world.
